If you are bed bound or have reduced mobility then a long cable to charge your devices can make all the difference. It will mean more independece and one less thing to ask your visitors or nurses to do for you.
I recommend a cable of at least 3 metres. Three metres may sound like a long cable, and it is! But the distance from the wall to where you are could easily be this long and that will mean you can charge whenever you’re in the vicinity of your bed.
If you’re going to be using a powerbank to charge your devices then I’d actually recommend going the other way and having especially short cables so evaluate your environment and how you think you’ll be charging your devices when you’re in hospital.
Of course you should make sure the cable has the correct connectors so that it fits into your charger and into your device.
